I lead frontend architecture and stay hands-on in the code, backend included. Most recently, at Patterson Companies, I rewrote a desktop-only AngularJS bill-pay frontend as a responsive, localized Vue and TypeScript app. It serves dental and veterinary sites that handle billions in payment revenue.

I rewrote a desktop-only AngularJS bill-pay frontend as a responsive, locale-aware Vue and TypeScript app. I added Vue 2 and Vue 3 support to shared company libraries so teams could upgrade on their own schedule, and did platform work across services and CI pipelines, including an org-wide Artifactory migration.

I led frontend development for the Account team and digitized the member guest pass experience, supporting hundreds of thousands of new accounts and app installs. I also added frontend error reporting in Datadog and built the Vue 3 location finder with a custom Google Maps integration.

I built UIs with geospatial maps, diagrams, and dense financial data grids, and introduced Apache ECharts, which made interactive, animated charts practical to build in-house. I also built an Angular iPad app, through web views, that streamlined scheduling for wind-site workers.

Day to day I work in Vue, React, and TypeScript, with backend depth in Node.js, Java, and C# (full list). I use GitHub Copilot and Claude every day, and this site is built and maintained with them.
